  • 6 tablespoons on unsalted butter,

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a large baking dish slightly using butter and then set it aside. Again, combine your shredded cheeses in a big bowl and then set them aside.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; however, you can add a pinch of salt according to taste. Follow the package instructions strictly when cooking the pasta. Remove the pasta from heat after cooking and then drain it wash with water. This will remove the starch from the pasta.
  3. Use olive oil to drizzle pasta and then stir gently to coat the pasta so it doesn’t stick. Set it aside to allow it to cool. Meanwhile, prepare the cheese sauce. 
  4. Melt all of the butter in a stockpot, Dutch oven, or deep saucepan. 
  5. Whisk in all-purpose flour over medium heat until light brown. It would help if you continued whisking until golden and bubbly. This may take about 1 minute.
