  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a pot of boiling water, cook the whole wheat pasta based on package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Put flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Add pasta to the bowl. Then mix the flour with the pasta until it is all covered with flour.
  3. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat in a medium saucepan, and then add some cornmeal. Stir it into the oil until it is combined with the cornmeal. Add 1 cup of low-fat milk while stirring, but don’t worry if there are lumps, as that is normal. Cook for 5 minutes or so and then
  4. Add ½ the cheese to the sauce and mix it in. If you need to, add more milk to make the sauce thinner. Make sure that the cheese is melted into the sauce.
  5. In a large baking dish or two medium oven-safe dishes, pour pasta. Pour cheese sauce over the top of the pasta and stir it in with a spoon.
  6. Put the vegetables in a pan with oil. After 5 minutes, they will be cooked. Next, put them in macaroni and cheese that has vegetables already in it.
